The member representing Khana/Gokana Federal Constituency, Dumnamene Robinson Dekor, has described the former Rivers Commissioner for Chieftaincy Affairs, under the Nyesom Wike-led government, John Bazia, as one with no electoral value and good moral character to insult Governor Wike.
Dekor, countering the recent “attack” on the governor by the former commissioner, alleged that Bazia was dismissed from the cabinet because of character deficiency.
The former commissioner, had in an event while addressing APC supporters in Bori, Khana Local Government Area of the State, described Wike as ‘dictator, half-baked and a tout’.
However, Dekor, who is also the Chairman, House Committee on Host Communities, while dismmissing the threat to demolish the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the State in the 2023 elections, said APC in Rivers State is a ‘disaster waiting to happen’.
He described members of the faction of the APC loyal to the minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi, as failed, aggrieved politicians, who have nothing to offer the good people of Ogoni.
According to him, “They are just paperweight politicians. They have no influence in their villages and voting units. They lack capacity to win elections in their voting units.
“It is on record that these gangs of dedicated sham only gathered in Bori on Wednesday to denigrate the Governor, his administration. They never missed any opportunity to denigrate the office of the Governor.
“Their public show of shame on Wednesday in Bori has again shown who they are. It is on this note that I condemn their foul languages against Governor Wike.
“Mr John Bazia and his gang of rabble-rousers should henceforth stop insulting Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike,” Dekor added.
