Dubai government to sponsor Port Harcourt Polo Club tourney, offers all expense paid trip to United Arab Emirate

Dubai government has offered sponsorship for Port Harcourt Polo Club tournament 2022.

The president of the Port Harcourt polo club, Engr. Chukwudi Dimkpa made the announcement on Wednesday, 1st December 2021.

According to Engr Dimkpa, next year’s polo tournament will place Rivers state and Nigeria on the map of global reckoning.

“In fulfillment of our commitment to deliver best and biggest Polo tournament that will place Rivers and Nigeria on the map of global reckoning for sports, tourism and business, in our celebration of the 50th Golden Jubilee of Port Harcourt Polo Club, we are pleased to announce the official sponsorship and partnership participation deal offered by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism.

The president of the Port Harcourt polo club, went on to list all that will be benefited from the tournament -which will also serve as the golden jubilee celebration of the club.

“The offered deal we have attracted, which is in total value of over fifteen million naira, will cover but not limited to the following areas:

  1. Dubai-branded polo team jerseys.

  2. An all expense paid trip to Dubai for winners of a selected Cup at the Tournament and Club executives. They will receive round trip ticket from Lagos or Abuja, including five (5) nights accommodation, breakfasts, visa’s, airport transfer in Dubai, and tickets to a Dubai Polo Tournament in March 2022.

  3. In addition three (3) lucky winners during a raffle draw at the tournament will win roundtrip tickets from Lagos or Abuja, 5 nights accommodation, breakfasts, visa’s, and airport transfer in Dubai.

“More as we have said often, the Port Harcourt Polo 2022 tournament under our watch, in addition to being an avenue to promote equestrian sports, healthy lifestyle and peaceful coexistence, we believe this as an opportunity for industries and corporate entities to showcase their businesses, products and services, to promote patronage and with a view to massively enhance the economic growth and investment potentials in Rivers state and Nigeria”.

Engr Dimkpa urges the general public that the Port Harvpurt Polo club 50th anniversary tournament is still open for local and international business sponsorship and partnership.

“While we sincerely appreciate the Dubai Government’s Department of Economy and Tourism for this robust partnership and several others, we use the medium to inform the general public that the 2022 Port Harcourt Polo Club 50th Anniversary tournament beginning 9th to 15th January, 2022, is still open for both local and international business sponsorship and partnership participation”.
