LMC re-schedules Rivers Utd and Enyimba game

The League Management Company LMC has rescheduled that Nigeria Professional Football League NPFL Matchday 11 Fixture against Enyimba FC has been rearranged to Wednesday, 21st April 2021 at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium by 4 pm.

.

The game was initially scheduled to hold on Sunday, 11th April 2021.

Rivers United remains in 7th position with 29 points from 18 matches.

The Pride of Rivers recently lost four two to Dakkada fc of Uyo on matchday 19 of the Nigerian league.

Enyimba is 5th on the NPFL table with 30 points from 15 matches.

The Peoples Elephant have four outstanding games due to their involvement in the CAF Confederation Cup competition.

Enyimba is the only Nigerian club side that is currently participating in the CAF continental games after Rivers United, Kano Pillars, and Plateau United were all eliminated in various stages of the Champions League and Confederations Cup tournaments.

The club is topping group A of the CAF Confederation Cup with six points from three games.

The two-time CAF Champions League winners eliminated Rivers United in the play-off stage of the competition and revenge will be on the minds of Pride of Rivers when Enyimba visits Port Harcourt for the rescheduled game.
