Supreme Court judgment has liberated Rivers people – Chukwudi Dimkpa

Ugochukwu Iwuchukwu

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Rivers State Chukwudi Dimkpa, says the recent Supreme Court judgment is the much-needed stimulant for the liberation of Rivers State to unleash her true greatness.

Chukwudi Dimkpa said the courage of the Supreme Court in doing justice to the various alleged sponsored suits that sought to entangle the Party in endless litigation and by effect thwart the aspiration of Rivers people is most commendable.

The APC Chieftain insisted that the age-long aphorism that every day may exist for the thief but one day would be for the owner played out eventually as the almost endless daily battles instigated by external forces for the APC have now been effectively and permanently neutralized, thereby paving the way for the rejuvenation of the Party to meet the yearnings of Rivers people for better, robust, more inclusive, empathetic, and forward-looking governance beyond the grandstanding delusion of short-lived brick and mortar myopia.

“The recent Supreme Court judgment that appears to have brought to finality the protracted, ill-intentioned, needless, and sponsored affray within the ranks of the APC can best be described as the much-needed stimulant for the liberation of Rivers State to unleash her true greatness”.

“The courage of the Supreme Court in doing justice to the various alleged sponsored suits that sought to entangle the Party in endless litigation and by effect thwart the aspiration of Rivers people, not just for a virile opposition in the State but for a political platform under which they can deliver good governance is most commendable”.

Chukwudi Dimkpa, however, commended the steadfastness of all members of APC in the State, who stayed true to their commitments to the Party and its leader, Rotimi Amaechi, Nigeria’s performing Minister of Transportation, throughout the trying moments of the Party just as he dedicated the victory particularly to God and those who stood firm.

He advised friends from across all political divides and non-political quarters, who prayed and hoped that a day like this would come in Rivers State to join the party as APC is now an alternative political platform, that is poised to provide quality leadership for residents of the state.
