Ugochukwu Iwuchukwu

Port Harcourt based amateur side Willbros FC continued their preparation ahead of their Nationwide League Two play-offs with a four-two victory over Sunsel FC in a pre-friendly match.

The match was played at the Adokiye Amaesimaka Stadium, Port Harcourt.

In the meantime, the President of Willbros FC Capt Williams Adedoyin said the club is the hub of talent in Rivers State.

He opined that the vision of the club is to bring back the best of football to Rivers State.

”For us in Willbros we have been trying out new tactics and so many other new things for this season. And we want to see how the best of football can come back to Rivers State and where Rivers State can as well serve as a hub of talent in Nigeria and the world at large”.

Capt Williams Adedoyin while speaking to our correspondent said the team is eyeing promotion to the Nationwide League One.

He said the club will work very hard to achieve its goal.

”Our target is promotion. Of course, that’s our aim because the last time we came second in our group, the last time but this time we want to top our group so we can get a promotion, that’s why we are doing everything possible to achieve our goal” he said.
