Following the recent rift between DJCuppy; Florence Otedola and Zlatan Ibile, which escalate and got people talking when during an interview, Zlatan claimed to not have known DJCuppy even after they did a song together, one Mr Afeare Isreal, said to be Davido’s aide, took to his Instagram handle alleging that DJCuppy deserted Zlatan in Abuja after he was invited to her fundraiser where he claimed he she made millions and refused to pay for accommodation for Zlatan and his team.
He also alleged that she refused to pay Zlatan his own share of the money they made from the song they made together.
Responding to Mr Israel’s claims, DJCuppy took to her social media handle to announce that she will be suing Mr Israel for defamation of character.
She wrote “For the records, there has been no breaches of my contractual agreement regarding the song #Gelato as confirmed by my lawyers. However, as Israel publicly and inaccurately declared that I owe an artist money, I am suing him for libel and defamation.”
The rift between DJCuppy and Zlatan was made public when DJCuppy lamented about how Zlatan blocked her on all social media platforms without her knowing what her crime was.
As at the time of filing this report, Mr. Israel is yet to respond to her DJCuppy.
