Less than 24 hours after an Appeal Court affirmed the suspension of Adams Oshiomhole as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Governor Godwin Obaseki has stylishly denied moving to a new platform to seek re-election.
The governor had on Tuesday announced his resignation from the APC, over his disqualification from contesting in the upcoming primary of the party.
But few hours after an Appeal Court affirmed the suspension of Oshiomhole from the party, Obaseki tweeted that “I have not moved to a new platform yet to seek re-election.
“My focus now is to control the spread of the coronavirus (#COVID19) pandemic, which is ravaging our country and threatening our healthcare system.
“Stay safe”.
