The Federal Capital Territory Authorities on Sunday sealed the Jabi Lake mall following the packed performance by afro-pop singer, Naira Marley on Saturday night.
Naira Marley whose real name is Azeez Fashola, was in the news again for disobeying social distancing and curfew orders, after he performed at an event in Abuja which was supposed to be a drive-in concert but turned out to be a full crowd show as fun-seekers filled the venue.
Videos from social media show Naira Marley and his entourage arrive aboard a private jet and then performing at a fully packed event, where social distancing rules were negated.
Naira Marley nor the relevant authorities are yet to comment on what happened overnight in Abuja.
Nigerians have taken to social media to criticize the organisers of the show and the artiste, who should be a role model on their blatant disregard for their safety and that of those who attended the show.
