Rivers State Police command has arrested and detained police officer for allegedly slapping a married woman.
Revelationagents online reports that the officer attached to Rumulomeni Divisional Police Headquarters at Iwofe in Obi/Akpor was detained at the station for slapping one Mrs Idongesit Archibong.
The incident, the paper reports, occured on Saturday close to the Police station.

The itchy-fingered police officer whose identity could not be ascertained was detained on the orders of Chief Superintendent of Police(CSP) Emmanuel Wagbara, the Divisional Police Officer(DPO) of the station.
It was gathered that the DPO ordered the arrest of the officer following a complaint lodged by a security Activist and convener of “Police is your friend”, Bosinde Araikpe.
