Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, the General Overseer of Omega Power Ministries has gifted an educational scholarship to the unborn child of the murdered Mechanic, Chima Ikwunado.
Chima was killed by men of the notorious Eagle Crack Unit of the Rivers State Police Command.
He death has is the latest in an orgy of violence and extra-judicial killing involving desperate police officers and innocent citizens.
His friends dubbed ‘Ikoku Four’ were released from detention on Thursday after pressure from civil society organisations who queried the rationale behind their detention and threatened mass protests against the police and the Rivers State Government.

While condoling with the wife of the deceased on Thursday, Apostle Chinyere said the scholarship will cover the baby’s education up till university level.
He said he may not be able to raise late Chima from the dead but will ensure that his family does not lack anything after his death.
The apostle said he would ensure the 8-month pregnant woman delivers her baby safely at the OPM Free Hospital without charges and her accommodation, feeding and clothing will be fully catered for afterwards.
Apostle Chinyere also promised the widow that he will establish a viable business for her after she gives birth.
Meanwhile, a philanthropist, Mr Daminabo Alali Daniel has given the widow a cheque of N1,000,000 (One Million Naira only)for her upkeep.
Presenting the cheque, Mr Daminabo said that the sum was his token to support the widow for the injustice meted on her husband by an unjust society.
