1. Sugar Rush
Sugar Rush tells the story of three ladies who stumbled upon a huge sum of money in hard currency. Guess their next line of action. Shopping! You are right. They went shopping and almost spent all the money. Unknown to them, the money they found belonged to some cabals. This act of theirs got both the cabals and the state police come for their head. Sugar Rush is directed by Kayode Kasum. It stars Adesua Etomi-Wellington, Bisola Aiyeola, Bimbo Ademoye, Mawuli Gavour, Omoni Oboli, Tobi Bakare, Banky W and others. This film is out in cinemas today, December 25, 2019.
2. Your Excellency
Your Excellency is Funke Akindele’s directorial debut. Your Excellency tells the story a man; chief Ajadi who is obsessed with trump and happens to be the presidential candidate of his party. Starring Funke Akindele, Akin Lewis, Shaffy Bello, Deyemi Okanlawon, Osas Ighodaro and a host of others.
3. Kpali
Directed by Ladipo Johnson, Kpali is a fell good movie that revolves around millennials. Kpali conveys a strong and relatable message coated in humour and rightly played by interesting characters. It stars Ini-Dima Okojie, Nkem Owoh, Kunle Remi, Gloria Anozie Young, Ihuoma Linda Ejiofor and others.
4. Muna
Muna tells the story of a young lady whose hardheartedness ( which was caused by all the abuse and betrayals she went through while growing up) made her hunt for her abusers and how love found her along the way. Directed by Kevin Nwankwo. It stars actors like Adesua Etomi- Wellington, Onyeka Onwenu, Falz, Ebele Okaro and others.
