13 perish in ghastly motor accident

At least thirteen persons have died in a ghastly motor accident in Benue State state on Sunday.

The accident which involved an 18 seaters’ bus belonging to Benue Links collided with a trailer around the sharp bend at Akwanga in Benue State.

The head on collision with the trailer pushed the bus into a ditch, an eyewitness said.

According to the eyewitness, only one person survived (a woman) as the rest died during the accident.

The vehicle, it was gathered, was heading to Abuja when the accident occurred.
