Xenophobia: Oshiomole calls for nationalization of South African businesses

The National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Comrade Adams Oshiomole, on Thursday, said the Nationalisation of South African Companies in Nigeria will go a long way in solving the xenophobic attacks on foreigners in South Africa.

The party chair during his remark at a party event in the wake of the Xenophobic attack on Nigerians and other Africans in South Africa said South African companies like MTN, Multichoice, Stanbic IBTC operating in ria should be nationalised.

The federal government had reacted strongly to the attacks on Nigerians by pulling out of the World Economic Forum holding in South Africa.

The FG said it was going to recall Nigeria’s high commissioner to South Africa, adding that other measures will be taken to ensure that such attacks do not repeat itself.
