Dr Ifeanyi Okowa, the Delta State governor, on Tuesday, urged the Federal Government to adopt measures which curb incessant farmers and herders clash in the country.
The governor disclosed that his administration was doing its best to checkmate the havoc being done by Fulani herdsmen through an interface with critical stakeholders.
Okowa also regretted that the limited control of the security apparatus is hampering his efforts to tame the ugly trend under his purview.
He decried the frequent herdsmen attack and killing of unarmed farmers and other Nigerians while insisting that the onus lies on the Federal Government to curb the menace.
Speaking further, the governor urged the federal government to tell Nigerians the steps it had taken to stem the ugly trend.
