A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Etche local government Area of Rivers State, Mr. Johnson Ukaegbu, has allegedly been kidnapped by unknown gunmen.
It was gathered that the incident which occurred at the eve of Saturday 10th August, 2019 happened along Nihi/Odufor road in Etche local government area.
Also, his phones have been switched off as his car was seen parked at the side of the road.
Sources told theportcitynews that that axis of the road has been a major concern for the people of the LGA as it has in recent times been a checkpoint for kidnappers.
Efforts to get the family members to make official statement proved abortive as they are yet to formally contact security agencies.
