Breaking: AIT, RAYPOWER back on air.

African Independent Television, AIT and Raypower stations are back on air after 24-hours suspension.

This comes hours after a federal high court sitting in Abuja ordered the both Daar Communications PLC and Nigerian Broadcasting Corporation, NBC, to return to status quo.

NBC had suspended the license of Daar Communications PLC on Thursday for allegedly airing inflammatory contents on one of its programmes, Kaakaki Social.

However, Daar Communications accused the regulatory body of trying to stifle free speech.
