Armed men said to be cultists have beheaded a 42-year-old man in Rumuekini community in Obio-Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State.
Theportcitynews gathered that his severed head was also dumped in a nearby secondary school.
This comes days after at least 20 persons were killed by yet-to-identified gunmen in Kono Bo-ue community in Khana Local Government Area of the state.
In Isiodu, Emohua Local Government Area, gunmen also killed three persons and set their bodies ablaze.
However, the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, said on Thursday that his administration is working closely with security agencies to unravel the mysteries behind the killings.
