Man commits suicide after being dumped by girlfriend (Graphic Images)

A 27-year-old man, simply identified as Pendo has committed suicide after being dumped by his girlfriend.

Mr Pendo committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree on Monday because his girlfriend dumped him, his brother told theportcitynews.

His body was found this morning in Twon-Brass, Bayelsa State, according his brother who spoke to Theportcitynews correspondent on the phone.

He said that the deceased had suffered depression following the break-up, adding that no one knew when sneaked out to commit suicide.

A friend of the deceased who identified himself as James, told our correspondent that he was still in a state of shock following the news.

“As I am talking to you, I don’t know what to say. I am in shock.

” We talked to him following the decision of the girl to quit the relationship and felt everything was fine only to hear that he had killed himself. I don’t want to believe it.

Our correspondent gathered that the deceased’s body has been deposited to the mortuary.
