Cultists behead 6 in Aluu community

Gunmen said to be cultists have beheaded seven persons in Aluu and Rumekini communities.

The cultists who struck on Saturday killed and beheaded six persons in Omoko, Aluu Community in Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers state.

It was gathered that the suspected cultists stormed Omoko and killed and beheaded individuals identified as Rhino, Justice Azubuike, Nwobueze Eric Woke, and other victims.

It was gathered that Justice Azubuike, had recently just been admitted into Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Iwofe, Port Harcourt, before his untimely death.

Sources said the cultists numbering about 10 invaded the area with heavy gunfire, shooting sporadically without interference from security operatives.

It was also gathered that in the neighbouring Rumuekini one electrical and generator repairer was killed at his home at the close of work by unknown gunmen.
