One Chibuzor Pori, 26, has been arrested by the Owerri police command for stabbing a 16-year-old Mrs Ulumma to death over the victim’s refusal to accept his love advances.
The victim, a SS3 student is to resume her West African Examination Council, WAEC papers on the 11th of April before her untimely death.
Family sources said the culprit waylaid the deceased on March 28 and stabbed her severally on the stomach for refusing to be his girlfriend.
The victim reportedly died on April 1st at the federal medical center Owerri.
The culprit who initially took to his heels having discovered the enormity of his crime, was arrested by the police few days later.
The police in an interaction with theportcitynews said the culprit will be charged to court for murder.
