Appeal Court: Abe and 41 others to know fate Thursday.

Indications have emerged that the Appeal Court has fixed Thursday 21st February, 2019 to deliver judgement on the suit brought by Senator Magnus Abe and 41 others asking the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to declare those who emerged through the direct primaries as authentic candidates.

Our source who pleaded anonymity gathered that following the delay in delivering judgement which was perceived to be due to security reasons that left the judges hiding, the court is set to give its ruling on Thursday.

The judgement which is expected to come up by 9am will determine the fate of the All Progressives Congress in Rivers State since the suit is the only window left for the party in the state.
