2019 polls: Foreign observers visit Rivers APC Chairman.

European Union Election Observation Mission in Nigeria 2019 and Canada High Commission’s delegates on Wednesday visited the Chairman Of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Rivers State, Chief Peter Odike at the State Secretariat of the party, 173 Aba Road, Catholic Mission Estate, by Waterlines Junction.

The four (4) man delegation in their envoy accompanied by a Nigerian, interacted with the Chairman on issues of security regarding the postponed elections.

They also discussed the fate of the party at the coming polls.
Peter Odike assured the foreign delegation of the party’s readiness to comply with the directives of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, and the security agencies, to participate fully in the elections come Saturday 23rd February.

He expressed confidence that the Presidential Candidate of the party Muhammadu Buhari GCFR would be given a massive vote to continue in his dogged political policies aimed at alleviating the sufferings of Nigerians.

He further expressed confidence in the judiciary to do justice in the case of Rivers APC and allow the party field candidates for all elective offices in the forthcoming elections.
