The Deputy Director of the Presidential social media Committee of President Buhari, Comrade Japhet Ogbueri has called on Senator Magnus Abe to sheath his sword and close ranks with Architect Tonye Cole to win the upcoming governorship election in Rivers State.
Comrade Ogbueri who hails from Omuma local government area of Rivers State is an astute politician who believes the party can win the upcoming elections when its house is put in place.
In an open letter to the Senator representing Rivers South-East senatorial district, Comrade Ogbueri said chasing one’s ambition is not a ‘do or die’ affair especially when it is well known that his supporters constitute less than 30% of the party membership in Rivers State.
In his words ” Sen Abe’s faction constitute less than 30% of APC membership, while the mainstream faction led by Rt Hon Chibuike Amaechi is the majority with over 70% of APC members”
He further called on the Senator to play politics like a party man which to him is played like a family game and as such, should make some compromise by giving up his ambition in order to let the party form a common front to unseat to the PDP-led government in the State.

.1: I wish to respectfully urge, plead with, as well as appeal to Sen Magnus Ngei Abe to allow peace reign in Rivers state APC, since he is the one that started the legal battle in the first place, even as what he cannot get today politically is still possible tomorrow. To win Chief Barr Nyesom Wike is not just a task but a mission that must be accomplished…
As a reflection and reinforcement, APC cannot reclaim Rivers state with a divided house, Sen Abe’s faction constitutes less than 30% of APC membership, while the mainstream faction led by Rt Hon Chibuike Amaechi is the majority with over 70% of APC members.
Pls Distinguished Senator Sir, politics at the party stage remains a family affair and a game of compromise, don’t forget that Dr Dakuku Adol Peterside and Prince Tonye Princewill also gave up their ambitions for the sake of the party. After all, what will be will be, at times not by force or farce…..
.Finally, Tonye Cole is a saleable candidate and has what it takes to displace Wike, as such APC must fortify its front to win the governorship election. It cannot happen without the Abe Factor!!!
