Buhari deserves another term in office – Abe

The Senator representing Rivers South-East Senatorial District at the National Assembly, Magnus Abe, has said President Muhammadu Buhari deserves another term in office due to his numerous achievements in the last three years.

Abe, in a statement issued by his spokesperson, Parry Saroh Benson, in Port Harcourt on Thursday and made available to theportcitynews, stated that the President has fought corruption and raised the bar for Nigerians against social vices, invested in agriculture, improving the economy and human capital development.

The statement reads, “President Muhammadu Buhari has done so much for Rivers people and South-South at large and has promised to do more.

“Continuation of work on the East-West Road, completion of the new terminal at the International Wing of the Port Harcourt International Airport, as well as the Maritime University, N-Power Program, Bodo-Bonny Road, Ogoni cleanup and other developmental strides being embarked upon by his administration.

“I believe in his leadership qualities and I know that if given another opportunity the President will place the country on a pedestal of greatness.”

While welcoming the President and his entourage to Akwa-Ibom, Abe called on Rivers people to continue to rally support for the President’s second term bid.
