A 46-year-old man has reportedly killed his four children, set his house ablaze before hanging himself in the Eleme area of Rivers State.
It was gathered that the unfortunate incident happened at about 1 am on Tuesday Morning in Alesa community in Eleme, after a brief argument with his wife over her flirtatious activities.
Sources told theportcitynews that the man has been acting weird after news of his wife infidelity became issues for public discussion, with rumours that some of the children do not belong to him.
It was revealed that the man who is from Ogoja town in Cross River State, shared a two-room apartment in the community in Eleme Town with his four kids and wife.
The man reportedly caught his kids and strangled them to death over his wife’s infidelity before setting his rooms on fire and then hung himself.
The wife who escaped from the tragic incident raised an alarm, which attracted a huge crowd to the scene.
Theportcitynews gathered that the dead bodies have been evacuated by the Eleme police command.
