We are not ready to settle out of court – Citymann Nwanyawu

Kas Worgu

The youth leader of the All Progressives Congress in Etche Local Government Area, Citimann Nwanyanwu, has said that the Senator Magnus Abe’s faction of the party will not bow to the threat issued by the National Working Committee of the party to settle out of court.

Speaking to his supporters on Tuesday 21st November 2018 at his hometown at Ulakwo Etche, Nwanyawu maintained that the position of the law will have its way on the Rivers State APC crisis.

He also frowned at the high-handedness of the supporters of Senator Abe, saying that the court being the last hope of the common man will do justice to their course.

While making his speech titled “My Warning to NWC of APC” he further opined that “we are not ready to settle out of court.

“Where was the NWC of APC when the disagreement, impunity, rascality and stupidity of the midnight crew was at the preliminary stage?” he asked.

You would recall that the National Working Committee of the APC had issued a statement mandating all its members who had dragged the party to court to withdraw such suit or face sanction.

This decision is definitely not going down well with some members of the party just as Hon. Nwanyawu had told his supporters that the legal tussle of Rivers State APC will continue and end in the court not minding the threat from the apex decision making body of the party.
