Etche media coordinator lectures reporters on the importance of objectivity

The Coordinator of Etche/Omuma Media Practitioner’s Forum Mr Godspower Anele has charged the journalists in Etche Ethnic Nationality to be Objective in their Reporting to avoid Jeopardising their profession.

Mr Anele made this call during the Forum’s monthly meeting in Port Harcourt. He also advised the Forum to uphold the qualities of journalism and hard work in order to maintain lead in their various media houses.

The media coordinator also stressed that elections are around the corner and at this period, all the reporters and correspondents in Rivers State and beyond, should wake up to ensure adequate and objective reporting of the elections.

On his part, the acting secretary of the Forum, Mr Loveday Eche urged the members to report factual and objective stories and should never show any form of cowardice when reporting the truth no matter the level of intimidation they may face when discharging their duties.

He also caution the members to be punctual at all time whenever they are call upon.
