A female student of the Ignatius Ajuru University of Education unsuccessfully tried to commit suicide after a love affair turned sour.
The student whose name was revealed was said to have drank a sachet of the bleaching liquid, hypo, on Thursday morning after her boyfriend decided to end their love affair.
Sources told theportcitynews that the 23-year-old suicidal girl was immediately taken to the hospital where the liquid was neutralized, adding that she is in stable condition.
