Just in: National Assembly in joint session to discuss state of the nation.

The two chambers of the National Assembly are currently holding a joint session.

Speaker Yakubu Dogara has earlier announced that the House of Representatives and Senate will be having the joint executive session at noon.

Members of the Senate are currently moving into the Green chamber for the joint executive session.
