We suspended strike because of Saraki – JOHESU

JOHESU president has said the suspension of their weeks-long strike is a show of respect for the Senate President Bukola Saraki, who intervened after several failed negotiation meetings with the Federal Government.

Addressing journalists in Abuja, Mr. Josiah Biobelemonye, President of the union, said the industrial action, which commenced on April 18, will officially end on Monday, June 4, 2018, when workers are expected to resume work.

He said the suspension is a show of respect for the Senate President Bukola Saraki, who intervened after several failed negotiation meetings with the Federal Government.
