LGA Polls: Hon Blessing Okorogba meets with Edeoha, Ahoada East Ward 5 stakeholders

…. To canvass support for Chairmanship aspirant, Barr Ben Eke.

Ahead of the forthcoming local government elections in Rivers state, a chairmanship aspirant in Ahoada East Local Government, Barr Ben Eke, has taken his campaign message to the stakeholders and party leaders of the PDP in Edeoha community, Ward 5 in Ahoada East Local Government area.

Leading the Barr Ben Eke campaign team, Hon Mrs Blessing Emeka Okorogba who was also interested in vying for the chairmanship position, said that after due consultation, she decided to align with and support the candidacy of Barr Ben Eke and urged the good people of Edeoha to throw their weight behind him as they would have done for her.

Describing Barr Ben Eke as an Elder brother who keeps to his promises, Hon Mrs Blessing Okorogba, said Barr Ben Eke has promised to carry the people of Edeoha along in his Government when he gets into office with developments and appointments.

The party stakeholders in their response, lamented the abandonment of the Edeoha community, Ward 5 in Upata Clan, Ahoada East Local Government as it concerns appointments and hoped that under Barr Ben Eke, things will get better for the ward.

The highpoint of the event saw the stakeholders of Ward 5 in Edeoha crown Hon Mrs Blessing Okorogba as the new woman leader in the whole of Ekpeye Land.

Prominent among the stakeholders who attended the meeting, includes Former Special Adviser to Governor Rotimi Amaechi, Hon Ronald Odoi, Hon Ampo Enoch a former councillor of the ward, Hon Wisdom Amaa and Chief Julius Ubule.
