In a significant development, a rainbow coalition of councillorship aspirants from different political parties has come together to endorse Ambassador Dagogo Fubara as their preferred candidate for the chairmanship of Bonny Local Government Area in the upcoming election.

The aspirants, who cut across various political divides, including the PDP, LP, NNPP, APP, SDP, YPP, and ADC, have declared their support for Ambassador Fubara, citing his outstanding blueprint and commitment to the development of Bonny Local Government Area.

In a statement issued by Comrade Emmanuel J. Green, Ebenezer Jumbo, Mrs. Boma T Finecountry, and Comrade Ibitamuno Longjohn, the councillorship aspirants explained that they have studied all the aspirants vying for the chairmanship position and have come to a consensus that Ambassador Fubara is the most suitable candidate to transform the local government.

The aspirants, who will contest the election on the platform of their respective political parties, have pledged to urge their supporters to vote for Ambassador Fubara, saying they are doing so in the interest of the local government area.

They noted that Ambassador Fubara has shown a real desire to transform the local government, and as councilors, they would give him the needed support to actualize his blueprint for a new Bonny if they win the election.

This endorsement is a significant boost to Ambassador Fubara’s candidacy, who recently defected to the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) and has been tipped to emerge as the chairman of Bonny Local Government Area.

It bears mentioning that the former APC chieftain and Director-General of the All Progressives Congress (APC) State Assembly Forum (ASAF) has received widespread support from Bonny stakeholders, who have praised his blueprint for the development of the local government area.

Notably, with this latest endorsement, Ambassador Fubara’s candidacy has received significant momentum, and he is now poised to emerge as the chairman of Bonny Local Government Area in the upcoming election.
