Seyi Law Sparks Caution on Accepting Gifts, Shares Encounter

In a recent revelation, popular Nigerian comedian Oluwaseyitan Aletile, better known as Seyi Law, opened up about a spiritual experience involving a gift from a close friend.

According to Seyi, he discovered in 2016 that he was being spiritually monitored through a seemingly innocent pair of shoes gifted by this friend.

Seyi shared that the incident occurred during a vigil in his home, where he felt compelled to pray deeply.

During his prayer, he said God revealed to him that something in his house was being used as a medium to monitor him.

Following this revelation, he investigated and concluded that the item was a pair of shoes given to him by a friend.

He went on to explain that after the discovery, his wife took the shoes outside and burned them. Soon after, she became pregnant with their daughter, which he saw as a positive turn following the removal of the shoes.

Interestingly, Seyi noted that the friend who had gifted him the shoes has since refused to visit his home despite repeated invitations.

Sharing this experience on social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, Seyi Law posted, “I wish it was only a mirror they could use to monitor someone sha. One must be very careful of gifts.

“On the 2nd March 2016, I had a vigil in my room, and as I prayed, God told me there was something in my house that they were using to monitor me and I found out it was a pair of shoes someone gifted me.

“My wife took it out and burnt it. Prior to that day, I always doubted people who said God spoke to them.”

This experience has reportedly left Seyi with a deeper sense of caution regarding the acceptance of gifts, particularly those from certain individuals.
