The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has announced that candidates for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination can now print their examination slips.
The board disclosed this on Thursday, advising candidates to visit its official website to download their slips before the exam. It explained that the slip contains essential details such as the examination date, venue and time, and serves as an entry pass into the examination hall.
Candidates are required to log on to jamb.gov.ng and select the “2026 Slip Printing” option to access and print their slips.

JAMB also debunked a widely circulated report claiming the examination had been postponed, describing it as false and misleading. Candidates were urged to ignore the information. According to the board, the 2026 UTME will take place from April 16 to April 25, 2026.
The examination comes after a mock test held on March 28, during which some Computer-Based Test centres experienced technical issues. Out of 224,597 registered candidates, 152,586 participated in the mock across 989 centres nationwide, with more than 20 centres removed over poor performance.
JAMB further cautioned candidates to stay away from fraudsters, especially on WhatsApp, who promise to manipulate scores. It stressed that such acts are illegal and could lead to disqualification or withholding of results.
