Nigerian superstar Wizkid has reacted strongly to the recent scuffle involving his official DJ, DJ Tunez, and fellow Afrobeats star Burna Boy.
The incident reportedly took place at a Lagos event, where DJ Tunez was allegedly confronted and overpowered by Burna Boy’s entourage.
Wizkid took to social media, calling out Burna Boy and defending his DJ. In his post, he mocked the situation, hinting that Burna Boy was outnumbered during the altercation:
“P**sy nigga… Jump a DJ with 10man carry… I never see fool like this Diddy babe for my life.”
Fans immediately reacted, flooding social media with memes and comments. One user tweeted, “Wizkid really defended his DJ, Burna Boy is on blast.” while another wrote, “Internet power no be real power. Wizkid got the receipts.”
Burna Boy, in return has come online to respond to Wizkid. In a video he posted online, he challenged Wizkid directly, suggesting that any disagreement should be resolved hand-on-hand, rather than on social media.
He also denied claims that he brought multiple men to confront DJ Tunez, insisting the situation was exaggerated online.
Burna Boy also swore by his mother as he equally denied that any of his men touched DJ Tunez during the incident.
He said, “No be say my crew touch am. Na only me. I swear on my mama, if I dey lie, make Ogun carry my mama go anywhere wey Wizkid mama dey.
“Na only me. Na only me give am two slap. I tell everybody make nobody touch am.”
The online community is on heat. Some fans are siding with Wizkid, praising him for defending his DJ, while others are supporting Burna Boy, saying social media beef shouldn’t define real-life strength.
