NPFL: Nasarawa United Players Pocket N6M After 4-1 Rout of Rivers United

Nasarawa United players have been rewarded with a cash prize of N6 million following their emphatic 4-1 victory over Rivers United.

The Solid Miners received N1 million each for their goals in the encounter, a reward from the state governor, Abdullahi Sule.

Additionally, the Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Kwanta Yakubu, contributed N2 million to the players after Monday’s game at Lafia City Stadium.

Goals from Jofrank Istifanus, Ngei Oluka-Efor, Abubakar Abdullahi, and Chimezie Victor secured the win for Nasarawa United, while Taiwo Abdulrafiu scored a consolation for Rivers United.

The victory lifts Nasarawa United to third place on the NPFL league table, signaling their strong start to the season.
