A man widely known on TikTok as “Sule Yellow” has been arrested by the Nigerian military following a targeted intelligence operation carried out based on open-source intelligence findings.
Sule Yellow, who operated the TikTok account suleyellow6, had gained attention on the platform for appearing in videos that allegedly showcased criminal activities. Following his arrest, the account has been deactivated and is no longer accessible to the public.
Reports indicate that earlier this month, Sule Yellow participated in a TikTok Live session where he openly appeared alongside individuals believed to be involved in various illicit operations. During the broadcast, the group reportedly displayed their activities without attempting to conceal their identities.
His arrest reportedly occurred while he was returning from collecting a ransom payment linked to a kidnapping incident. Security operatives intercepted him during the operation, leading to his capture.
Eyewitness accounts suggest that the man who projected a bold and fearless image on social media appeared completely different at the moment of his arrest. Observers said Sule Yellow showed clear signs of distress, trembling and fidgeting while struggling to speak, as fear seemed to overwhelm him during the encounter with military personnel.
Authorities have not yet released further details regarding the investigation or possible charges, but the recent update has drawn praises and equally raised questions on the force’s ability to apprehend bandits, kidnappers and terrorists alike.
