In her effort to boost learning and promote education in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State, Corps Member Ibelecheazu Esther Uchechi, has empowered students of The Light Model Schools with writing materials.

The corps member who is servicing at Loretto School of Childhood, Igwuruta told TPCN in an interview on Friday, March 13, 2026, that the gesture was aimed at inspiring, encouraging and supporting younger ones in their educational pursuit.
Ibelecheazu who also visited Our Saviour’s Children Home and Handmaid Orphanage, revealed that the donation is an annual project that has come to stay.
Her words, “For me, it’s my own little way of giving back to the society and mostly encouraging the younger ones on the need to strive for excellence in their academic pursuit.
“It’s not much but it’s a project inspired by Jesus and it has come to stay. Noo, no one is bankrolling me, this is from my little savings, my allowee as God provided.
“Things are really hard, school books have become very expensive, it’s not easy for parents, I am very happy that I can give this little support.”
