Port Harcourt residents will once again have something exciting to look forward to as the annual Mayor of Pitakwa returns this year with a lineup of entertainers expected to deliver an evening of fun.
The event, hosted by popular Port Harcourt comedian Kobaba Jornsen, has grown over the years into one of the city’s notable comedy gatherings.
Known for bringing together performers from different parts of the country, the show has become a place where audiences gather to enjoy stand-up comedy, music, and the vibrant energy that defines Port Harcourt’s entertainment scene.
This year’s edition is themed “The Mayor and the 12 Kings.”

The concept brings together a number of comedians representing different cities and comedy styles, promising a variety of performances that reflect the humour and experiences of audiences across Nigeria.
The show will take place on Easter Monday at the EUI Centre in Port Harcourt. Activities will begin with a red carpet by 4:00 PM, while the main event starts at 6:00 PM.
The performance lineup features several comedians and entertainers including Akpan Okon, Bridge GSN, Coxson, Mr Teenager, Koboko Master, Edo Pikin, Abarie.com and Mudiaga.
Other performers expected on stage include Sarkin Dariya, Busy Mouth, HC Monica, DCN Famous, Prof Amani, MC Lozy, MC George and Captain Edet.
Beyond the stage performances, the event has gradually built a reputation for creating a lively social atmosphere where friends, family, colleagues, and entertainment lovers gather to unwind.
