Nigeria Desperate to Secure a World Cup Spot
The thought of missing two World Cups in a row is a one for a team ranked 26th globally and packed with top-notch talent. The three-time African champions have a reputation and have shown recent signs of progress.

If the six-time World Cup attendees are reinstated, the path forward is not easy. At the moment, DR Congo is set to play either Jamaica or New Caledonia for a World Cup spot, which means the Super Eagles of Nigeria would take their place if the appeal is successful.
