Aide to Beheaded Omoku Youth President, Laid to Rest

Comrade Chigozie Olowu, aide to the late President of Omoku Youth Federation, Ifeanyi Azuazu, was laid to rest in Omoku, Rivers State, on Saturday.

The burial ceremony drew family, friends, youth leaders, and politicians, including Hon. Prince Isaac Umejuru, who paid his respects and condoled with the grieving family

Chigozie Oluwu, the aide to the late President of Omoku Youth Federation, Ifeanyi Azuazu, was shot dead by gunmen suspected to be cultists.

The incident occurred on Thursday, February 5, around 6 pm at a popular drinking spot in Omoku, Rivers State. Oluwu was killed when he tried to intervene as the gunmen were abducting Azuazu.

The incident sparked widespread panic and outrage in Omoku, with residents calling for swift justice and increased security measures. The Rivers State Police Command has launched a full-scale investigation into the killings.
