The Body of Permanent Secretaries in Rivers State has sponsored 329 Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) forms for indigent candidates across the state in celebration of the 51st birthday of Governor Siminalayi Fubara.
The gesture was announced in a statement issued by the Head of Service, Dr (Mrs) Inyingi S. I. Brown, who said the initiative was designed to support access to education for less-privileged students while honouring the governor’s commitment to human capital development.

According to the statement, 319 JAMB forms have been allocated to the 319 political wards in Rivers State, ensuring statewide spread. An additional five forms were set aside for non-indigenes resident in the state, while another five were reserved for persons living with disabilities.
Eligible applicants were advised to contact the Office of the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Education for guidance on the application process and further details.
The Permanent Secretaries explained that the sponsorship formed part of activities marking Governor Fubara’s birthday, describing him as a leader whose governance style is anchored on service, inclusiveness and people-oriented policies. They noted that his leadership has contributed to improved institutional stability and enhanced public service delivery in the state.
The body also expressed gratitude to the governor for approving a befitting accommodation complex for Permanent Secretaries, describing the move as a clear demonstration of his concern for staff welfare and administrative efficiency.
They wished Governor Fubara good health, wisdom and continued success, praying for greater accomplishments as he continues to serve the people of Rivers State
