Otuaro Urges PAP Scholars: Excel, Make Tinubu Proud

The Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), Dr. Dennis Otuaro, has motivated a fresh batch of Niger Delta beneficiaries heading abroad for postgraduate studies to deliver outstanding performance and bring pride to President Bola Tinubu and the nation.

Speaking during a pre-departure orientation at the PAP headquarters, Otuaro emphasized the strong endorsement from the President and the National Security Adviser (NSA), describing the scholars as key representatives of the administration’s commitment to the region.

“When you succeed, it inspires others across the Niger Delta and encourages continued national support,” Otuaro told the group. He highlighted the program’s role in fostering development and urged diligence in their pursuits.

The administrator reaffirmed unwavering dedication to regional progress and national interest, promising sustained backing for high-achieving scholars. “For those pursuing MSc degrees, exceptional results that qualify you for PhD programs will open doors to further assistance from the programme. Stay focused and hardworking,” he added.

Beneficiaries expressed deep appreciation to President Tinubu, the NSA, and Otuaro for the life-changing opportunity. Among them, Arafiena Shekinah Nkem (MSc Project Management, University of Liverpool) and Omokaro Rick Efosa (MSc Supply Chain & Logistics Management, Coventry University) vowed to study diligently and uphold the trust placed in them.

The session included guidance on UK academic and cultural expectations, scholarship administration, and distribution of laptops to support research and studies.

This deployment forms part of PAP’s expanded scholarship initiative, backed by increased budgetary support under President Tinubu, aimed at building skilled human capital in the Niger Delta.
