Emohua Remains Firmly Behind Wike, Chidi Lloyd Declares

Emohua Local Government Chairman, Dr. Chidi Lloyd has expressed profound gratitude to Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Chief Nyesom Wike for his developmental strides and benevolence, particularly the recent facilitation of Professor Chituru Godwill Orluwene’s appointment as Chief Medical Director of the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital.

Lloyd assured that Emohua’s political structure remains intact under Wike’s leadership, declaring the area “as usual in the bag” for President Tinubu’s re-election in 2027. Quoting Joshua 1:5, he vowed that the people would never abandon Wike, who embodies equity, fairness and justice.

“Nobody can intimidate us here; we are the aborigines. The same team that delivered in 2023 is here and ready to repeat it as you direct,” Lloyd stated.

The Minister of the FCT, Nyesom Wike, who received a heroic welcome in Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers State on Sunday, December 28, 2025, as part of his annual Christmas visits to supporters of President Bola Tinubu’s administration was hosted at the palace of His Majesty, Ohna Sergeant Awuse, Paramount Ruler of Emohua Kingdom and Chairman of the South-South Monarchs Forum, where stakeholders reaffirmed their unwavering loyalty.

The gathering underscored enduring political alliances in Rivers State amid festive appreciation.
