Popular Nigerian comedian and streamer Carter Efe is back on Twitch, mere days after a high-profile suspension sent him packing to YouTube.
The platform abruptly reversed its initial four-month ban, restoring his account after a mere 24 hours—a move that coincides with the significant buzz generated by his defiant platform switch.
Efe’s exile was short-lived but impactful. After announcing his move on X (formerly Twitter), his loyal audience swiftly migrated with him, a demonstration of his pull that seemingly caught Twitch’s attention. The growing spotlight on his YouTube, seemed to have prompted the sudden reinstatement.
