Peller Attempts Suicide


‎Popular TikTok content creator and livestreamer, Hamzat Habeeb, popularly known as Peller, caused outrage and serious concern after crashing his car during a live broadcast on the Lekki–Epe Expressway in Lagos.

‎The incident happened on Sunday 14, December 2025, during an Instagram livestream titled “RIP Peller,” which later spread widely across social media.

‎In the video, Peller drove alone in his newly acquired Mercedes-Benz while appearing emotionally distressed.

‎During the livestream, he cried openly and spoke on the phone with someone believed to be his girlfriend, Jarvis, amid rumours of a possible breakup. At several points, he appeared agitated and made alarming statements.

‎In one moment, he said, “I will use this car and have an accident right now,” before later adding, “I’m scared. I’m scared.” His emotional state worsened as the livestream continued.

‎Peller also expressed fear of public ridicule if the relationship ended.

‎He said, “If you break up with me, people will be mocking me, they will be mocking me,” before making a shocking statement that stunned viewers. He added, “Thank you, I’m going to kill myself.”

‎Moments later, the livestream showed him driving into another section of the road before ramming the vehicle into a stone, causing a crash. The video ended shortly after the impact.

‎Another clip that surfaced online showed bystanders assisting him at the scene before he was taken to a hospital. The extent of his injuries remains unconfirmed.

‎The incident sparked heavy reactions online, with many users calling for intervention by authorities, while others debated whether the act was staged or reckless content creation. As of press time, no official statement had been issued by Peller or relevant authorities.
