‎NCDMB Unveils Customer Experience Centre in Port Harcourt‎

The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) has reinforced its drive to enhance service delivery in the nation’s energy sector with the commissioning of a Customer Experience Centre at its Port Harcourt Zonal Office in Rivers State.

‎The new facility is positioned as a strategic intervention to make the Board’s services more accessible, timely, and responsive to the needs of operators, service companies, and other stakeholders in the oil and gas value chain.

‎According to the Board, the Customer Experience Centre will serve as a dedicated interface point where stakeholders can receive guidance, lodge inquiries, and resolve challenges related to Nigerian Content compliance.

‎A major focus of the centre is to streamline the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry Content Joint Qualification System (NOGIC-JQS) registration process, which remains a critical requirement for companies and professionals operating in the sector.

‎The centre will also support applicants seeking the Nigerian Content Equipment Certification (NCEC), a programme designed to verify the authenticity and local content level of equipment used in the industry.

‎By establishing this facility, NCDMB aims to reduce bottlenecks, improve turnaround time for customer requests, and strengthen trust between the Board and industry players. The initiative aligns with the Board’s broader commitment to transparency, efficiency, and continuous improvement in the implementation of the Nigerian Content Act.

‎Industry observers note that the launch of the Customer Experience Centre is expected to enhance operational clarity for stakeholders, foster smoother regulatory interactions, and ultimately contribute to a more competitive and compliant energy sector in Nigeria.
