A highly anticipated show on Burna Boy’s ‘No Sign of Weakness’ tour has been abruptly called off. The U.S. performance, slated for Friday, November 28, 2025, in Minneapolis, has been officially scrapped.
The late notice was posted on primary ticketing channels on Thursday, November 27, 2025, just one day before the event was to be held at The Armory.
Organizers are yet to release a statement detailing the motives behind this decision, which coincides with a period of significant public scrutiny for the African music icon. This scrutiny was triggered by a recent event at one of his concerts that quickly gained traction online.
The source of the public discontent emerged earlier this month when the singer interrupted his own performance after spotting a fan in the front row who appeared to be sleeping.
Circulated video evidence from the event shows the artist directing the woman’s partner to “escort her out” of the building, stating he would only continue after she was gone.

This display ignited a firestorm of criticism from various corners of the public and music industry. Many condemned the artist’s perceived lack of empathy and sentiment that intensified following revelations that the concertgoer was reportedly grieving a recent loss.
The performer’s actions were widely denounced by online commentators, followers, and peers alike, who labeled the behavior as inconsiderate and harsh.
