Terrorists Attack Catholic School in Niger, Abduct Students and Staff

Terrorists have kidnapped an unspecified number of students and staff from St. Mary’s School, a Catholic institution in the Papiri community of Agwara Local Government Area, Niger State.

Though details remain sketchy, sources told Daily Trust that the attackers struck in a nighttime raid, taking several students away. A source within the Catholic Church in the state confirmed the incident, noting that the school is currently reconciling its records to ascertain the exact number of abducted persons.
