Man Accuses Lord Lamba Of “Lamba”

A young man from Port Harcourt has accused popular comedian and content creator, Lord Lamba, of neglect and broken promises after allegedly inviting him to Lagos for a movie project in 2023.

In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), the man claimed that Lord Lamba personally called him to gather a few of his fans, known as “Lambarians,” for a film shoot in Lekki. According to him, he left Port Harcourt, where he had been helping his sister in her shop, and travelled to Lagos with a friend in hopes of building a better life and gaining exposure through the project.

He stated that the shoot lasted for over a month and that he covered his own feeding and other expenses throughout. During the project, he said Lord Lamba often promised to help and connect them after filming. However, when the shoot ended, they were reportedly told to go home and were denied access to see him.

The accuser further revealed that he tried reaching out to Lord Lamba afterward through WhatsApp but got no response. His situation worsened when his sister sent him out of her house for leaving her business to pursue the opportunity. “I messaged him that I was homeless, but he ignored me,” he wrote.

According to him, Lord Lamba later claimed that he and his friend were feeling entitled. The Port Harcourt man said he lost his chance to return to school because of the incident and now only seeks “a better life, not his money.”
